Lore is passionate about incorporating natural fibres wherever possible and Hemp is an ideal fabric for curtains, characterised by its strength, durability and longevity.

We have worked closely with our suppliers to develop a range of curtains in hemp fabric available in 3 classic colours that will coordinate with any room. Auckland only.

The Fabric

Hemp 01 –Made from 100% Hemp grown in Eastern Europe this fabric is naturally technical. Hemp is one of the strongest and most durable of all natural textile fibres. Offering very good abrasion resistance and durability, UV resistance with a light fastness of 6 out of 8, anti-microbial properties and natural resistance to mould, mildew and rot. Hemp 01 is breathable, sustainable and biodegradable. Add to this a gorgeous stonewash finish which gives the fabric a rugged look yet has a beautifully soft handle suitable for soft covers, upholstery, heavy weight drapes and accessories.
