We adore James Dunlop and Mokum Studio, and fully stand behind their eco-friendly Kumo and Natura Recycled collections. Sustainable design is beautifully showcased through these amazing fabrics. Auckland only.

The Fabric
Kumo Recycled
Woven in recycled polyester, Kumo Recycled presents a modern perspective on fibre construction. Existing PET plastic bottles are reconstructed and repurposed into yarn, reinterpreting the past as a more sustainable future. Embracing the imperfect quality of natural materials, Kumo Recycled has a slubby and delicate weave that beautifully emulates the appearance and handle of soft cotton. For those seeking a high-performance wide width sheer that is fire retardant and has a weighted selvedge, Kumo Recycled is suitable for both residential and commercial applications. Custom coloured within the James Dunlop studio, a palette of 15 decorative shades reference our Australasian flora and fauna to elegantly frame the view within any setting.

Natura Recycled
Woven in 100% GRS certificated recycled polyester, Natura's innovative fibre construction repurposes post-consumer PET bottles and is Mokum's first foray into designing drapery using recycled polyester fibres. The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification ensures that not only is Natura itself certified recycled but that the entire supply chain has been audited to a high environmental and social standard. It's naturalistic and refined colour palette delivers an earthen, natural look, with the performance benefits of synthetic fibres. The relaxed aesthetic is augmented by its tumbled finish, which delivers a soft touch and sumptuous drape.
